Having been engaged in the clinical as well as scientific research work for 36 years, Peishu Liu is the vice director of the department of Obstetrics and Gynecology, executive deputy director of the teaching and research section of Obstetrics and Gynecology. She is specialized in the diagnosis and treatment of gynecologic tumor and pelvic floor dysfunction, and has earned rich experience in minimally invasive gynecologic surgery.
 
She also has served in numerous associations, including: member of the female pelvic floor disorders group of Obstetrics and Gynecology Society of Chinese Medical Association; leader of the female pelvic floor disorders group of Obstetrics and Gynecology Society of Shandong Medical Association; first council member of the International Association of Pelvic Floor Disorder; member of Scientific Innovation and Organ Reconditioning Association; honorary president of Shandong branch of Internet College of Gynecology; honorary chairman of female pelvic floor dysfunction prevention and treatment branch of Shandong Medical Doctor Association; vice chairman of expert committee of Shandong telemedicine technology innovation alliance; member of endoscopy committee of East China; project evaluation expert of National Natural Science Foundation of China. She assumes the positions of editorial board member and invited reviewer for several medical journals.
 
As the leader of several programs, she hosts 18 national and provincial scientific research projects, among which two belonging to National Natural Science Foundation of China, chaired 3 teaching research projects. More than 100 academic papers have been published in national and international academic journals (73 in SCI retrieval system) and co-edited 8 monographs.
 
With diligent study, earnest working, good medical ethics and wealthy clinic experiences, she was awarded as Outstanding Medical Professionals for several times. She has got the honorary titles such as prizes of Science and Technology Progress awarded by People’s Government of Shandong Province (2 with second prize and 7 with third prize), the national March Eighth red banner pacesetter, March Eighth red banner pacesetter of Shandong Province, advanced worker and excellent teacher.
