Qifeng Yang is the distinguished Professor of Shandong University. He serves as Chairman of Department of Breast Cancer Surgery in Qilu Hospital, and Director of Research Institute for Breast Cancer Research of Shandong University. He is the winner of the National High-Level Talent Award and special foundation for Taishan Scholars, awardee of the first batch of Outstanding Young Talents of Qilu Hospital, recipient of the “Good mentor in my mind” Award of Shandong University and the Astra Zeneca Scholars Award, and he is a member of editorial board of International Journal of Oncology. He also serves as the Chairman of the Breast Surgery Branch of the Research Hospital Association of Shandong Province, the Vice Chairman of the Breast Research Committee of the China Research Hospital Association, and the Vice Chairman of the Breast Branch of the Academic Steering Committee of Chinese Anti-Cancer Associations. In recent years, Professor Yang has undertaken six National Natural Science Funds projects and seven provincial and ministerial-level projects and has published more than 240 papers in various SCI journals including Nature Cell Biology, Journal of Clinical Investigation, and Cancer Research, with a total impact factor score of over 1000 points and more than 6,000 citations.
