Dr. Li Xuezhong is a Professor of Department of Otolaryngology, Qilu hospital of Shandong University. He received his medical and doctoral degree from Shandong University. His clinical practice focuses on nasal endoscopic surgery, especially in the minimally-invasive treatment of rhinologic diseases and skull base tumor. His research interest is the pathogenesis of nasal polys, chronic rhinosinusitis and allergic rhinitis. He serves as the principal investigator for Shandong Provincial Science and Technology Research Project and Natural Science Foundation of Shandong Province (ZR2017BH115). He has published extensively on nasal polys and allergic rhinitis. He won the National Science and Technology Progress Award, Science and Technology Progress Award of Ministry of Educator and Shandong Science and Technology Progress Award. He is the member of Otorhinolaryngology Group of Chinese Medical Doctor Association, the chairman of Nasal Endoscopy Branch of Shandong Association of Rehabilitation Medicine, the chairman of Otorhinolaryngology Group of Shandong Province Medical Association and Shandong Medical Doctor Association. He also serves as the editor of J Otolaryngol Ophthalmol ShanDong Univ and Int J Otolaryngol Head Neck Surg.
